Took some really nice photos this week at the Naturhistorisches Museum in Vienna. I’ve been there a couple of times before already, but not with my camera.
They recently renovated/re-opened the dinosaur bit, hence the “The Dinos are back” posters. As usually, the photos are up on my flickr account.
So a few months ago I bought my first DSLR camera. Always wanted one, and was growing tired of my little camera. So after a whole lot of research, many video and text reviews (thanks dpreview.com) I decided on the Canon EOS 600D. Price and feature wise exactly what I was looking for in my first DSLR.
And of course once you decide to get into photography on a more regular basis you start thinking about where to store and publish your photos online. These days that would seem like a rather easy choice to make, and that would be Flickr. Lots of features, huge community, and if you opt for the pro version (which isn’t that expensive) even more features!
