People often tell me that they are bored and don’t know what they should do. So why do I almost never say this? Well because I’m usually browsing one of the countless sites that I visit and participate in. One such site which I’d like to tell people about today is Worth 1000.
I imagine that a lot of you will probably know about this site, especially if you are a designer, or just happen to use Adobe Photoshop a lot for whatever reason. But still, most regular folk on the net don’t know about the site. So what is Worth 1000? It’s a site for people who love to alter pictures, and for people who like a good laugh, and/or would love to see some truly amazing picture editing skills.
Now, the above image isn’t really something very special. It’s not the best that Worth 1000 has to offer, it’s just an image that I like a lot, and it’s a good example. Worth 1000 has contests all the time, and each contest has a central theme. The theme for above image is Celebrities in Star Wars. There are many different and very varied themes.
So make sure to take your time and browse through all the contests that interest you. Just to name a few of my favourite contests, Evolution Gone Wild, Celebrity Star Wars, Animal Day Jobs, and Superhero ModRen. One could spend days and days looking at a lot of great pieces of work. Never ever boredom again.
