Talk about a band that I should have found out about much sooner. Gregorian is is German band who perform Gregorian chant inspired covers of popular songs. Apparently their selection of songs is very strict and must follow lots of guidelines and rules before it gets picked, and done with the blessing of the original artist of course.
The above video is one of their newer songs, “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” originally by Green Day. When I said that they cover popular songs, they really do cover a very wide range of music, ranging from “Hurt” by Nine Inch Nails, all the way to songs like “Bridge over Troubled Water”, originally by Simon and Garfunkel. Be sure to have a look at other related videos on YouTube, and then maybe order a DVD or a CD by them.

My heroes too !! Their sound is very touching and awe inspiring .I’m determined to find out the name of the girl in the above video . I am captivated by her beautiful smile . I checked out the link for the band but there seems to be no way to contact them . If any one can tell me her name I’d really appreciate it …. thanks , Gary
