Just got back from watching At World’s End, and it’s already very late, but still wanted to post what I thought of it, so here goes. At World’s End is the third and final (who knows really) movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, starring Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, Yun-Fat Chow and other great actors.

So what did I think of the movie? Well it’s great entertainment, I’ll say that much, but I’ll also say that I enjoyed the first two movies more than the third. Why? Most likely because the third one tries to do so many things in one movie, but it just doesn’t all fit in, so some parts are a bit rushed. At least that’s how they felt to me.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

The actors did a good job as usual, especially Johnny Depp, who is more or less Pirates of the Caribbean. Without him the movies, would be quite mediocre at best. Sadly, Yun-Fat Chow’s role was a very small one, was hoping he’d get some more things to do, but was still pretty cool to see him as a pirate.

My recommendation? If you liked the first two, you’ll probably enjoy this one quite a bit as well. If you didn’t, well then you probably won’t like this one either, though I must say that the third movie is quite a bit more serious. But it remains true to itself, and as I said, is great entertainment.

I know this is late but I would like to comment on that. A lot of the summer movies seem to be doing that, Spider-man 3 did the same thing and its a shame cause it could have been better but they just think about throwing all these things into one movie would be a good thing but it just doesnt add and distorts the rest of the movie….
