Day three, and after playing for 34 hours and 47 minutes give or take a minute, I have finished KotOR 2. So what are my thoughts about the game now? Well they are a little different, and I could say that I’m quite annoyed at how it all ends. To sum it up, the end of the game is horribly rushed, there are lots of pieces missing and unexplained. Half the time you are left wondering at what’s going on, and why has a certain thing happened.

Not to mention the fact that the game has sort of two endings and the first one is a major let down, and the second one just doesn’t feel right either. And there’s the annoying thing of lacking a proper end sequence. All you basically get is a ship flying off, and that’s that.

Knights of the Old Republic 2 - aka the rushed game

Another thing I noticed about KotOR 2 is that it lacks emotions. KotOR was a lot more about emotions and a love story (which if done right, add really a lot to a game), but KotOR 2 doesn’t really care much for this, so yeah it feels very rushed, especially towards the end.

I’m not going to say that it’s a crap game though, because it isn’t. It’s very good even, otherwise I wouldn’t have kept on playing it. But it did have oh so much more potential. If only LucasArts hadn’t rushed it.

Yea just finished myself, same feelings all around really, it just gets nuts towards the end like they were randomly ripping out scenes and scripts to shorten it, and it just got very confusing and very rushed and like … oh the end.
