Well, season three is over now, the last episode aired last night, and I have just finished watching it a few hours ago. I’m not going to go and spoil it, because I know that quite a lot of people who read this blog and watch the show, still haven’t seen the last episode. I’ll say a few non spoiler things about it instead.
For one, I didn’t find this to be the best season finale that Battlestar has had, season one for example, had a much nicer finale. Secondly, and this is probably just me, the episode felt a bit rushed, or rather they tried to put in so much into just one episode it was getting insane near the end already. But still a very good episode, certainly much better than most other episodes from season three.
For those of you who have seen it, what did you think of it? Do try to stay away from spoilers though if you are going to comment, at least for a week or so.

I agree, I feel the end and impact of the first one can’t really be beaten. That said I did love this episode, I kind of wished it had been a lovely deluxe longer episode, but the rushed feel added to the emotion and impact and “What what what?!” factor it left towards the end.
When I look back across season 3, I am really impressed, I had begun to be worried(though hiding well :P) it was on a slide downhill, it can’t obviously maintain the pace it originally established forever, and a few filler episodes do slip through here and there, – including a lull which wasn’t for everyone where it focused on the drama and politics/society rather than the overall plot/arc – but the amount of things they’ve covered this season have been immense, and just have to trust they’ll continue on in the next season to come up with more crazy great stuff, without falling into the traps of rehashing or overcomplicating for the sake of continuing itself (X-Files as much as I love it tad guilty here.)

I just watched the last episode, season 3 of BSG. I think that it was actually quite nicely put together. Well atleast the viewer gets some insight of what exactly to expect now. Atleast Starbuck is back which is good. If there is one thing I’d change about the series that is the freaking annoying madam president. I just can’t stand listening to her cunning and manipulative talk, and always walking around with that cynical smile on her face. I really do think she is one of the most annoying characters in the series. Ah well..hope next season has more action.
